A sender and a traveller shaking hands across a table
Trust & safety

Strangers becomingpartners is theentire trick.

Both sides have to trust each other before they meet. SevenEight rails make that a transaction, not a leap of faith.

SevenEight rails

The protocols underneath every trip.

Each one runs on every delivery. None can be switched off.

Membership

Travellers join by invitation.

Senders join freely. Travellers are invited by earnvoy or by a verified traveller, and that link stays on the record. Identity proves who someone is; an invitation adds who vouches for them.

Identity

Government ID and biometric, through Persona.

No anonymous accounts on either side. Persona checks the document and matches it to a live selfie. earnvoy receives a verdict, never your raw documents.

Escrow

Money is held by a licensed bank until delivery.

Senders fund escrow when the match locks, and travellers see “funds confirmed” before they accept. The traveller never holds both your parcel and your money.

Manifest

What’s in the bag, photographed and signed.

At handover both sides photograph the sealed parcel, declare contents and value, and sign. Senders can’t change it afterwards; travellers can’t carry anything undeclared.

Match lock

Two yeses, or no trip.

Either side can pull out before the lock at no cost. After it, cancelling needs a reason. Flight cancellations and delays never count against you.

Flight check

The flight is real, checked against airline data.

When a traveller accepts, their flight number is checked before your money moves. It confirms the flight exists and is still scheduled, not that a particular person holds a seat.

Code on delivery

The recipient confirms in person.

The recipient gets a 4-digit code by SMS on arrival day. The traveller enters it at handover. No code, no release.

Evidence

A record that survives the argument.

Every leg is documented: GPS-tagged photos at pickup and handover, the handover code and a full audit trail. A person decides disputes against that record.

Common safety questions

What both sides want to know.

What if the traveller disappears with my parcel?

They’re never holding your money too, and there’s a verified person behind the account. If it isn’t delivered, escrow stays frozen and the case is decided against the record. Criminal conduct is pursued separately.

What if customs seizes the item?

If it was allowed and accurately declared, the sender is refunded. If the sender misdeclared it, they forfeit and are banned. The traveller is never penalised for a sender’s misdeclaration.

Can a traveller raise the price later?

No. The quote locks when both sides accept. Refusing to deliver after signing, without a valid reason, refunds the sender and costs the traveller a reputation mark and a suspension.

Is there insurance?

No, and we’d rather say so than imply cover that doesn’t exist. Every delivery carries an evidence trail instead, and escrow isn’t released while a dispute is open.
