Nothing is added at handover, and nothing comes out of the traveller’s side.
Naira figures use an illustrative 1,121 ₦ per CA$, which is mid-market plus our 2.5% spread. The live rate is shown before you confirm. Minimums are CA$50 for Canada → Nigeria and ₦25,000 within Nigeria.
We absorb payout costs on almost every transaction. In rare cross-border cases where the payout costs more than CA$2, the excess passes through, and it’s disclosed to the traveller at match acceptance, never after.

Why charge senders and not travellers?
Travellers bring the space, the route and the time. Charging them for being useful makes no sense. Senders pay one published fee for the delivery.
How does currency conversion work?
Mid-market rate plus a published 2.5% spread. Both are shown before you pay, never discovered later on a statement.
Can a traveller refund a sender directly?
Yes, partially, from their wallet for up to 30 days after delivery. earnvoy refunds its share of the 14% in proportion, not just the delivery portion.
Will the fee change?
The published 14% is the rate we commit to. If it ever changes, it never applies to a delivery you’ve already agreed.
