01What if my flight is cancelled?
Mark the trip delayed or cancelled. The sender is told, escrow stays on hold, and they choose to wait or re-match. There’s no penalty for an honest cancellation.
02Am I liable if customs stops the parcel?
Not if the manifest is accurate and the item is on the allowed list. If something goes wrong anyway, the manifest and handover evidence are on file and a reviewer decides against them.
03What if the parcel isn’t what was posted?
That’s what the pre-flight meeting is for. Open it and compare it with the manifest. If it’s different, decline there and then. Escrow returns to the sender and there’s no penalty to you.
04What does earnvoy take from me?
Nothing. Our 14% service fee comes out of what the sender pays. We absorb bank payout costs on almost every transaction; in rare cross-border cases where a payout costs more than CA$2, the excess passes through, and you’ll see it at match acceptance, before you commit. Full breakdown.
05Why do I need an invitation?
Travellers hold other people’s parcels and money in escrow, so they join through a verified member or by applying to us. Once you’ve completed a delivery, you can invite people you know.
